Mohs Micrographic Surgery was pioneered by the late Dr. Frederick Mohs. Since that time, Mohs surgery has been shown to be the gold standard for removal of non-melanoma skin cancers such as Basal Cell Carcinoma and Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

Dr. Kouba is a fellowship trained Cosmetic Surgeon as well as a fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. He trained in Los Angeles under the auspices of Dr. Ronald Moy, a past president of the American Academy of Dermatology and he has published several scholarly articles and book chapters on these cosmetic surgery techniques.
